When buying property, you need to meet a number of deadlines (known as confirmation dates) which are set out in the Agreement for Sale and Purchase. Our team will assist you to keep you on track to ensure all deadlines are met on time. Once the contract is unconditional, we will take you through the mortgage and transfer documentation in a way that is easy to understand and on settlement day we arrange for the property to be transferred into your name are on hand to resolve any issues that may arise.
First Home Buyers
We know that buying your first home can sometimes be a stressful process. At Maciaszek Brown Law, we work with you to make your applications for a Kiwisaver Withdrawal and Housing New Zealand HomeStart Grant, we ensure that the timeframes between the contract going unconditional and settlement are in keeping with the requirements of your Kiwisaver provider and Housing New Zealand. We take the time to explain your mortgage documentation and assist you with finalising your purchase so that you get the keys to your new home.
Our team of experts are able to guide you through the sale process including advising you on the terms of the listing agreement or drafting an Agreement for Sale and Purchase as required, we can advise you on the terms of the Agreement and work with you through the confirmation process, following an unconditional sale agreement we will complete all necessary transfer forms, paying off any mortgage from the sale proceeds and arranging for the net proceeds of sale to be paid to you.
Should you wish to change your mortgage provider, our team at Maciaszek Brown Law can assist you with arranging to discharge your existing mortgage, we take the time to explain your new loan structure and help you sign all the necessary documents, we arrange to drawdown your new loan and use this to repay your existing mortgage and update the title to your property with your new mortgage provider.
